Since ballot is accounted automatically by a system if and only if the seal is valid, then automatically the ballot will be secured after process, fine — but if the system, for instance does not check for doubloon, it is very easy to trick by duplicating valid ballot massively. Only way to detect is summing the records in the registry of electors, after a sanity check (which is another issue we know, like withdrawing dead people etc ..), and comparing with the number of ballots, and THIS we know is a proven big issue the Supreme Court could afford to evade ..... so this is just a question of time ....
